Gary Spicer is a Virginia artist known throughout the Commonwealth for his pen and ink drawings of historical sights as well as paintings chronicling his favorite subjects, people moving thought their everyday lives.

Mr. Spicer, who has been a successful art educator in Virginia’s public schools for thirty years, retired and currently, teaches in the District of Columbia public schools. He has also taught art at Clinch Valley University in southwest Virginia. He holds a degree with honors from the Virginia Wesleyan College and a graduate degree for Radford University.
